Yesterday’s Thunderstorm
We had a doozy of a storm yesterday for part of the afternoon. Some real bright lightning for the afternoon and thunder very close to home. Apparently, the antenna on the roof of the building I live in was struck by lightning and a tenant told a few of us in the community room that her TV was zapped by lightning through the antenna. OUCH! She got the TV a month ago on sale. Sometimes it pays not to brag about some things. The electricity went out for a brief few seconds but nothing in my apartment stopped working – my side of the building.
