What a wonderful day today! The weather may have proven to be chilly and very windy, but it was a busy day. With dialysis every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, today was one of those days I had dialysis, went for a walk to get popcorn at the mall, and then got my nails done for the month. I did not get home until after 3 PM. Bing Crosby the Cat was wondering where I was although I did tell him I had an appointment and errand to run. He was happy to see me despite my lateness of getting home.
There is this new popcorn place in the mall. It just opened up on November 1, 2019. DKF and her husband met the owners at our monthly flea market. I was introduced to the wonderful taste of popcorn through two bags. The bags of popcorn I got was cheddar cheese flavor and buffalo flavor. Delicious! I have tasted popcorn of the same flavor from stores and when I tasted this Chicago style popcorn, I was hooked. Going to the store this afternoon after dialysis, I noticed that the store was very low on the flavors so I have decided to try sour cream and chive flavor and grab another cheddar cheese flavor to take home. I have tried the sour cream and chive tonight and it is going to be gone by tomorrow. Delicious!
The walking part of my day was getting inside the mall and back to the DKF’s vehicle before my 1:45 PM appointment. I was able to achieve the walk. The brace I got on October 28 is working out wonderfully. This is the first time since I have had the new brace, I have walked a good distance without too much of an issue of feeling unsteady. My new brace works well with me. I need to walk more every other day now. I can do it. I have to do it. I need to do it. I want to do it.
