Waiting for My Turn

November has taken its last bow and left the stage to its right while December had come on the stage at its left. Let’s welcome December, everyone, ok? Winter is on its way now that the Christmas holiday season. Yep, Christmas is coming in twenty-four days from now.

Last Treatment of the Week

For a Friday, the weekend will be here once I leave the clinic. Today, I have one last treatment of the week. My ride got here and dropped me off at the dialysis clinic by 11:15 AM and right now, we have patients waiting for their turn to the machines for Friday morning. Yep, I am waiting for my turn on the dialysis machine this morning. For Christmas, I will be coming to dialysis on December 24th that weekend, and resume my dialysis treatment on Wednesday that week. I personally think and believe the Dialysis center does not have to move everyone around and disrupting the patients’ schedule. It makes no sense. When my schedule is disrupted, I get anxious and upset really easy. I understand that the doctors want us to dialyze three times a week to get the benefit of a very good cleaning, though. I surely do not want to gain any fluid weight during the week and days off dialysis days, either, to be very honest. It just disrupts my schedule during the week changing my schedule at the clinic.
