Woohoo, The Weekend is Here
Today was a happier day for me. For some reason the door of the van not shutting properly for a few minutes did not bother me. I had my phone and was playing a game called Travel Duck and let the driver do what he needed to do to get the door to shut properly. He is a young man who knows what to do if he cannot get it to latch properly. I was keeping myself out of the loop unless the driver asks me to do anything. Within ten minutes, the latch worked properly and I was heading to dialysis and when I get done, my ride will pick me up. WTG Darnell for getting the latch to work properly without getting upset or anxious. I was not even sweating anxiety, but I was beginning to feel antsy. Anyway, dialysis is over for the weekend, and will be heading home here when Uncle Norris, my driver, gets me hooked up and in, and then take another patient home from her appointment first.
Home now myself, I meet Jackie in the lobby chatting with the good neighbors and I decided to visit for a while. A few minutes later, about a half hour later to be honest, we finally head up to my place. I got to see my babies for the first time since I left this morning and said to Jackie, I was hungry for fish. With the weather being hot this week, she is not wanting to run my stove in my already hot apartment. Being on the 3rd floor does not help either. With things not getting fixed in the building, my air conditioner works like crap this year. It is still 72 on the heat register. It is summer out there and it is almost over 90 degrees in the afternoon after lunchtime. Jackie decides to go the Looking Glass Bar & Grill for fish and eat it there, so we ended up on a small adventure. We ate and I brought home a piece of fish and tater tots. I do not a lot of tots or fries with my kidney disease. Yet, I still love my potatoes. Now, I am in bed and tomorrow will be a new day.
