July 8–Dialysis Update

Dialysis did go smoothly after all the kinks were ironed out during the first hour of treatment. The alarm would go off a couple of times or more before the dialysis technician reverses the lines for the rest of the treatment process of two hours and forty-five-minute run I have been at for the past two years now. Even Dr. Anjum dropped in on his patients and with me being only 10 minutes away from the end of treatment before he stopped at my cubicle to visit with me, then I was unhitched from the machine and headed out to weigh out. My technician FORGOT to help me buckle up, put my feet rests down before I left the clinic, so while visiting with my friends I say hello and goodbye to on the way out and downstairs helped buckle up, and put down my feet rests. I was not happy with this technician. The fact is, I was livid. Definitely, NOT happy!
