8/6 – My Day and Potluck

My day was a very good day … as a matter of fact I felt good getting up before 9 a.m. this morning even though I did not really get up out of bed before 9 a.m.. Had made a couple of calls right away in the morning, got out of bed and showered, and dressed for the day. I was looking forward to the TM potluck this evening at 5:30 p.m.. Anyway, it was a good day. Even the property manager BS and his wife DS came for the potluck. Today’s potluck was hamburgers, brats, and hot dogs on the grill with other fixings to go along with the grilling. We had potato salad, macaroni salad, sweet treats, chips, baked beans, and other fixings. It was a great day for a cookout even though the supper was indoors in our furnished community room. The food was very good and tasty and rummy. I am glad, now, though, with it getting kind of late, that the day is closing to an end and bed time is soon approaching and I am definitely ready for bed. Did have a good day today even though my muscles told me differently and I had to slow down some in my walking and watch every step I made with or without my cane. I am very happy today. Bing is happy and he is doing his usual fun thing right now — laying on the desk keeping me company as I am on the computer. You know how that is, right> LOL
