I am doing fine regarding my transplanted kidney but my chlesterol is in need of repair!!! Starting tomorrow I am going to, change my diet even more adding oat bran and oat meal to my eating habits. Does anyone here at DD have high chloresterol? If so, what are you doing to correct the problem by lowerng the levels without using medication like Lipator…as using any medication regarding high levels of chlorestol. I am asking a very personal queston but I have high chloresterol and I am not ashamed to say so, and I know I have to change my diet! It is not that I am not losing weight (did I say that right) but I have to stay away from for a while from foods that cause chlorestol levels to get high.
