What a Nighat

I did not expect to have some heartburn last night. Because of the heartburn, I ended up having a long night of in and out of sleep looking at my clock which showed the time. I had awakened at 7:41 a.m. to my alarm going off at midnight. my new clock – a radio/Cd player – has twoalarms. I had awakened to the embarrassment because my neighbor next door could hear it and it went off for twelve minutes. I have figured out how to stop my dual alarm. As tired as I felt, I was able to turn off the alarm so it would not go off again another night. Whew. When my alarm went off again at 7:41 a.m., I had gotten up feeling a little beat from the heartburn I had felt before retiring for the night.

Even before I went to sleep last night, I was feeling very anxious about something. I could not figure it out. I had called my friend J.P. about 8:30 p.m. waking her up from sleeping. I felt so embarrassed…VERY embarrassed. I had called my friend M.E.E. and called me back while I had dozed off. After telling him about what was going on, I began to feel a little more calm and was able to doze off shortly after speaking to M.E.E. That was when I had awakened to my alarm going off around midnight for twelve minutes!

I don’t know when I had fallen back to sleep because i felt the heartburn I had the night before as well. I was very uncomfortable and my mind was on the heartburn, not the sleep I needed. Even though I felt a little anxious about three hours earlier, I was not going to prevent myself from running errands and going bowli,ng this afternoon – in over two hours now.

Sorry about the heartburn as I know how that can keep you awake.
