My Eyes

Today I had an eye appointment in Madison and my eyes did not change from last year.  I am very happy with that.  I texted my mother about what my appointment was all about and that my eyes did not change from last year and her response was “GREAT!” and I agreed with her wholeheartedly.  I could not have asked for more regarding the eye appointment.  The doctor I have now – for the past two years – 2013 and 2014, I really like him and he is such a sweetheart, and I have been told that I have beautiful eyes on the inside and outside.  His version of “boring” is good in his vocabulary meaning that nothing is wrong or out of place.  My eyes are intact meaning no macular degeneration, my lens implants from my cataract surgeries in 2001 and 2006 are doing well, and my eye surgery – straightening of the eyes in 2007 is doing well.  The fact that I have cerebral palsy, my eyes areI di n doing great!  “Boring” is a good word.  I get to wear my favorite glasses another year!  Woo hoo!

As for my glasses … I have to say that they believe there is a scratch on the left bi-focal.  No worries there.  I do not notice it.  Tomorrow I have an appointment with my foot doctor at the Dean clinic and where I got my glasses, I can stop in for a cleaning.  Maybe they can determine the scratch and we will go from there.  If the scratch is bad enough, I will get new glasses with the same prescription that was given to me this afternoon after my appointment.  All is good.
