My absence has been what it was since September 18 because Bing Crosby the Cat injured his right back leg while frolicking on my walker and sprained the tendons. He was sore for a couple of days and by today he is back to his old self. As soon as the vet was opened Wednesday morning September 19, DKF and I wrapped Bing in a towel and took him to get his leg checked out. The vet, who Bing likes, took good care of him and me who was panicky and would not wait a day to see if he would be okay. Now, today, worries have left me enough that I do not have to watch his every move and wonder where he is at.
With this being the weekend and Sunday, I rarely sleep in during the week. Today I slept in until 8:15 AM. My IRIS hired worker AR will be here around 3 PM to 8 PM. I am feeling a little sad that she has three more work days with me before she leaves IRIS to work full-time at the high school with kids with special needs. AR has a cold and I hope/pray that I do not catch it this week. I hope she feels better soon. Anyway, I am glad I am up writing once again. The past few days have been a little overwhelming and a little tiring.
