A Relaxing Day Today

Today I had decided to do something different. What was different/(not) unusual was not out of my comfort zone? I decided to watch Cold Case Files on Hulu Diagnosis Murder from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, then Netflix’s program American Horror Story that was an A&E program until series one, episode ten, was done at 4 PM. I watched three episodes. I can take mystery stories with a twist of horror a little at a time. I had to do something different today.

How was your day? The weather has been a little on the cooler side today. Due to the fact we still have the stay home order in place, I stayed home all day. I had my bath, got comfortable clothes on, relaxed, and read some of my story on my Kindle titled Watching. I did this while listening and watch American Horror Stories. Bing even cuddled up to me for a while this morning. I can do two things at once — read and watch TV. I can get the idea of both stories — as silly that may sound to some people. I know for a fact, LOL, that I can not chew gum and walk very well. It has been a very relaxing day. A lazy day to be sincere.

My dialysis weekend begins after treatment tomorrow afternoon. I do have to admit, not writing about dialysis in my public diary, this week has been a good one for dialysis with a couple of bumps in treatment from time to time. I am looking forward to my dialysis weekend. DKF comes at 7:30 AM on Saturdays. I am so used to getting up at 6 AM to have time for myself and Bing before my day begins. Last Saturday, I had awakened at 6:45 AM and started for the bathroom to wait for DKF at 7 AM. I keep forgetting that she comes at 7:30 AM on Saturdays. I am going to do it right starting tomorrow.

Our routines are ALL messed up ! I’m trying to roll with it. Some days I succeed, others…. not so much! 🙂

I understand you. I love having a routine, and routines seem to satisfy my need for the day. I have had my routine changed a few times throughout the years. Because of necessary changes or the changes that came about unexpectedly like hospitalization. One hospital will allow computers while another does not. I have to accept that. Computers and large monetary value items go into the safe. My routine for getting online would be my phone, and writing in my diary would have to wait.

My body goes through “regular” routine withdrawal when routines are broken because of unexpected changes that last for more than three days. When I make the change to what I want to watch on TV, it is very different. I have my wants to watch certain programs and movies from time to time. Now I have a new set of programs to watch on certain days.
