I have been with Dear Diary since the early 2000s. That is about twenty years since I have been writing in my online diary. I have met good people through the years since I began writing for the public eye. My writing is very important to me whether or not I write a diary for personal reasons or whatever the world wide web shares. Whatever I write about, I am writing for a reason. If I want to make an entry private, I will do that; otherwise, it is public and found online through Google or other search engines it fits.
Since high school, I’ve wanted to write a story — a book — but time has been an issue. I’ve written a story in ninth grade for my English teacher MAI, but it was not for an assignment. I did it for fun and enjoyment. I was getting a D in her class at the time, and because I wrote a story and shared it with her, my story helped raise my grade one letter grade — a C. I was shocked at first and indeed very happy. Now, with Grammarly, I believe I can get a good story written in good time, but finding the time every day is questionable right now. My story I wrote was a mystery, and my Nancy Drew character was Abbey Korry — an Abbey Korry Mystery.
