Honoring A Special Girl
Many people may think that I may be an odd person honoring my first cat, Emilee Marie Cuddles who passed away on November 14, 2006, but that’s okay. Emilee was adopted on June 2, 1990, when she was 8 weeks/2 months old. Emilee was my first fur bundle of joy.
Today is her adoption day anniversary even though she has been gone out of my life almost four years at this point in my life, but I remember today as if it happened yesterday. Every year at this time, my heart and mind remembers well, I always get this twinge in my heart and body, around the 2nd of June where I find myself thinking of her a lot more than during the rest of the year and during the Christmas and New Year holiday. Today is one of those days I give honor to Emilee Marie Cuddles and thank her for giving me 16 ½ years of her life to me and being my first fur baby to love and cherish. Now I have Bing Crosby , the cat to love, honor, and cherish as well and he has his special days of honorable mention as well.
Where’s the Storm
I personally thought we were supposed to have a thunderstorm last night and thunderstorms today, but they have yet not arrived. Where’s the storm? From the weather forecast, according to WKOW we are expecting to have thunderstorms Friday and Saturday. I wish the weather would make up its mind but then again, nature has to run its course and be what it is. We, as human beings, do not have control of what God does for us when it comes to Mother Nature. Let the thunderstorms come when they are ready. God is our best weather forecaster in the world.
Baby Squirrels
We have 3 baby squirrels in one of our trees in the TM yard right now and they are so cute and at this time not afraid of people. I got to see them up close and personal as far as looking up the tree they are in right now. They look down at us and listen to us as we chitter and chatter to them and among us humans who are down below them, lol. They are so cute and adorable. I hope they grow up to be fine squirrels of today’s God’s creatures. I even named one of them Rocky.
God’s creatures are awesome when they are small and babies yet. May Giod protect them and keep the three we have in our TM yard right now safe from hawks and other birds think squirrels are their food and prey. I understand that animals have their instincts to follow but I am a sucker for animals dying and being hunted.
This Afternoon
I am waiting for KH to arrive and then we are going to get a bite to eat and do a little shopping this afternoon. I am getting away from the building for a while. Yay!!!
Time Away From the Building
KH and I went out to eat at Eagle Inn Restaurant right down the street from my apartment building/TM. After lunch, I went to the store to get a couple of things, and then I came home before the rain became a pour down. Another storm was supposed to be heading our way but it just rained.
