From January 24 – January 30 I did not write in my diary nor did I get any journaling at all. I did not feel the greatest. I have been busy, despite the fact that I did not feel the greatest. With today being the last day of the first month of 2014, I thought I would begin my diary again and journal my thoughts once again. It has been a strange but doable few days. With my last entry being the 23rd of the month, I have to say that past eight days have been without any writing. I am glad to be back on track even though I am not going to play catch up with my entries for the past eight days. All I can say is that I have had my showers, did my grocery shopping, cleaning and laundry, going to Bible study, food preparation, and going to church whenever the weather allowed it and the weather has been cold. In fact, to be honest, this month, we have had two real artic chill temperatures were the wind chill was -44 degrees for two days straight. We had two days a couple of weeks ago, and then this week on January 27th and January 28th we have wind chill temperature in the negative numbers once again. I got services on Monday to have laundry and cleaning done but grocery shopping was postponed until Wednesday after my 10:15 am shower.
Tonight I am going to have company over so we can watch Undercover Boss at 7 pm CST, and of course, have supper together. Friday nights I like to reserve time with my best friend RS and watch TV with her – her favorite show. Undercover Boss became my favorite Friday night show as well. She got me addicted to the show. LOL. We are having Totino Pizza Rolls for supper and orange popsicles for dessert.
Sometimes I Wonder About People!
It is winter in Wisconsin now and despite the cold snaps we have, people will go out and smoke cigarettes out back where I can see them or out front. It is just amazing what people will do to have a cigarette or two. I tried smoking when I was in my early twenties for two weeks but I quit because it was a nasty habit and I am happy to this day that my grandparents – Grandma and Grandpa Fox – quit smoking when I was 17 years old. I smoked for a short time that I did not get addicted to smoking.
