Conversation With My Mom
Every Sunday, I talk to my mom on the phone. Today’s conversation was about COVID-19 and how news stations handled it from the start. Does China hate us that people have manufactured a virus to be spread all over the world as the Coronavirus is doing right this minute? That is my feeling about all of this mess. If the COVID-19 virus was manufactured in a lab, like 18 viruses before this from China, I need to pray for the people involved to see that they are doing wrong. Sadly, we have such evil people out there in the world who want to bring harm to others who are innocent in more ways than the evil ones out there. Evil people do not believe in God, and if their hearts and God is telling them to kill or harm someone, it is not God, but Satan himself. I have had a feeling something wasn’t right the minute news reported of the virus affecting people
Mom and I talked about politics as well. I am not going to go into detail at the moment. I have been avoiding the news lately because hearing about the Coronavirus all the time makes me a little anxious. I get updates from my IRIS worker DKF and her husband while they are here during the day. I have been staying home, in my apartment all the time like I am supposed to prevent getting the virus. I go to dialysis every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday like clockwork, come back home to stay in my apartment. If I need anything from outside, I order and have it delivered. Yesterday I had my groceries delivered for the first time from Woodman’s grocery store in Janesville, Wisconsin. I do miss being able to get out and get things done, but I have to be patient until the Coronavirus scare is over. God has been very good to me for 49 years, and I do not expect his goodness to end.
My Sunday At Home
My Sunday”s are low-key days around the house. DKF comes seven days a week now to help with personal care hours. Today her husband came with her and gave Bing Crosby the Cat his attention and morning treats. We call SF “Uncle S” in front of Bing, and Bing knows him so well. I had my bath, got in comfy clothing, visited with SF, and DKF for a while while she put my groceries away from yesterday’s delivery. I have decided to see what was on HMM as far as movies and watched Flower Shop Mysteries, Murder 101, and Ruby Herring Mysteries. Then, before 5 PM, I decided to traipse to my bedroom and write in my journal/diary, and get online for a while. It has been a good day. I will write more later.
