My Thoughts At the Moment
My heart goes out to a friend of mine who is a colleague from high school today. Ever since last night when he, BW sent me a message telling me his mother passed away two days ago, my heart felt his pain and understanding what he said. My friend SJ lost his mother two to three days before Thanksgiving and now BW lost his mother three days before Christmas… What is going to happen next? I know, as I understand and know, we are living in the last days of Christ’s return to take all of his followers home to be with him forever with God. I know that a countless amount of people are already waiting for Christ to return to bring them home to be with God – my grandparents for instance are 4 people who are sleeping in the ground now, too. I feel bad for my friend BW. I feel bad for SJ as well. All is good otherwise.
My Morning So Far
Sleeping in was not happening again, lol, so I got up at 7 a.m. at the start of the Criminal Minds marathon on A&E … vowing I was going to watch it all day if I can but I will record several of the shows – even though I have seen some of the shows already. My favorite Criminal Minds episode is on at 6 p.m. CST and I am definitely recording that one. It is titled “Honor Among Thieves” starring Kate Jackson (2007) as Ambassador Elisabeth Prentiss – the mother of one of the workers on the show. What a wonderful marathon for Christmas Eve Day! YES!
Plans For the Weekend…
Anyway, with morning still fresh, at 9 p.m., I do have to say that I have no plans for the weekend even though it is Christmas weekend. I am, at this time, going to stay home with Bing, relax, read, watch TV, Netflix, write in my journals, play games on Facebook, and snuggle/cuddle with Bing. I even gave KH her Christmas present from me yesterday – a day off – by cancelling my shower for the day. I will take a shower later today sometime on my own. KH will return back on Monday morning. I cannot believe it is Christmas weekend and next weekend will be New Year’s Day weekend! Wow!
Between 7 and 10 a.m.
Thinking and hoping actually I would have slept in until 9 this morning, I cannot believe that my day began at 7 a.m. this morning. I was tired early last night and retired early so that is probably why. Oh well, anyway, my day had begun at 7 a.m. Anyway, I took my medications, got a tall glass of water with lots of ice, and finished reading the first Harry Potter Book: The Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowlings – a very good book and I LOVED it a lot! The movie was awesome too.
11:22 a.m.
I was delayed a little bit reading the last chapter of Harry Potter: The Sorcerer’s Stone – finishing it a moment ago. I will begin reading the second book Harry Potter: The Chamber of Secrets later today.
Merry Christmas Eve!
It is Christmas Eve evening. My plans for the holiday tonight is to have a pizza from Dominos along with cheese bread. My pizza will consist of meat, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese – hand tossed crust tonight. I will be eating within a half an hour or so now. Yum!! I love pizza even though it is fattening. Anyway…Bing has been given his dinner and later he will have his dessert of his favorite treat called “Greenies”. He LOVES his Greenies! Good kitty. I am not at all ashamed of having Christmas alone this year. It actually feels good to be alone for the holidays this year. My mom will call me sometime tomorrow. I talked to my dad earlier this afternoon.
Well… I better go for now and wait for my pizza delivery to get here. I am getting hungry now that food was mentioned again a few seconds ago, lol.

Not the traditional Christmas Eve dinner of turkey this year, I decided to have pizza and cheese bread for supper tonight instead since I not with friends or family this year. My pizza consisted of cheese, hamburger, mushroom, spinach tonight. It is was delicious! I LOVE spinach! I thought about it for a few minutes, seriously, and remembered how my grandma MIF had me try spinach one summer – the lettuce kind – before saying Ewww and it tasted good. I believe I was about 12 years old or so when I tried spinach for the first time and never did I say “Ewww” to the foods grandma MIF had me taste as much after that, lol. Grandma MIF told me that my taste buds will grow with me and the foods I did not like much as a child – sour kraut for one food I DID NOT like as a child at all – will be tolerated more so. She was absolutely right. Anyway, tonight was a pizza night for me and it was delicious. It was my Christmas this year.
Bing’s Christmas
Bing’s Christmas was very nice. I would not forget about him. I had gotten him Greenies last Saturday and 27 lbs of cat litter from Mounds Pet Store on his Adoption Day Anniversary so he got some ocean fish greenies for his Christmas treat along with lots of cuddle/snuggle time while we watched TV, I read, and relaxed in the recliner tonight. I believe I spoiled him rotten giving him 9 greenies last night but I do not think it spoiled him too much, lol. Bing is never spoiled actually. He is a very all the time anyway. He rarely complains … out loud that is …
Good Night
I feel full from two pieces of pizza, almost all of my cheese bread pieces and it is getting late. I am heading to bed here in a moment to get some sleep to see how soon Christmas Day comes for me this year. I am going to say good night.
