2015 is gone and 2016 is here. Where did the 2015 year go? It went by slow in some areas and fast in others, and when October came, the year seemed to speed on by without too much warning. I am glad 2015 is gone and 2016 is here. Why not start the new year out better than the last year.
One month from now, to be exact – February 1 – I have a kidney biopsy scheduled in Madison, Wisconsin at the UW-Hospital and Clinics. The kidney, after twenty-eight years is dumping protein into my urine and since August, the protein/creatinine ratio has been elevated, and the number seems to go up instead of down. At one time, when I learned of the plan the doctor wanting to do the biopsy after taking other steps, I was upset and scared, but today I am not. I want to know what is going on just as much as the doctor does. I have had the kidney for 28 1/2 years now without trouble until now.
